Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of patient demand, appointment utilization, and service consumption patterns to identify trends and areas for optimization.
  • Develop and implement workforce planning strategies based on data-driven insights, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and optimal staffing levels.
  • Utilize available dashboards and reporting tools to gain a comprehensive understanding of operational challenges and potential solutions. Track the effectiveness of implemented changes and measure their impact on key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with system suppliers to enhance existing tools and technologies, ensuring they effectively support transformation initiatives within general practice.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, facilitating informed decision-making and driving continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working at a senior management level within general practice.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Business Management or Financial Management qualification.
  • MIGPM accreditation.

Essential Experience:

  • Extensive experience working in general practice with a thorough understanding of systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Successful track record of delivering multiple IT projects throughout the entire project lifecycle within a primary care setting.
  • Proven project management and planning skills.
  • Strong IT and numerical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Experience championing diversity and inclusion, promoting actions to enhance the experience of diverse groups.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience with SystmOne clinical system.
  • Experience working across multiple practices.
  • Knowledge of NHS structures and organizational relationships.
  • Familiarity with IT products such as primary care clinical systems and digital tools, including new patient online registration, SMS/communication tools, and clinical data entry templates/protocols/presets.
