Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Design Engineer to join our team at Bluestream People. As a key member of our space technology team, you will play a critical role in the design and development of satellite communication products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop complex electronic circuits, including schematic capture, component selection, and simulation.
- Lead in-house and external PCB layout design teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Develop and implement manufacturing work packages for prototype and production-quality products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate, validate, and qualify hardware, software, and systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electronics or a related field.
- Extensive commercial experience in hardware product design, preferably in the space industry.
- Expertise in designing high-speed circuits on high-density, multi-layer PCBs.
- Proficiency with circuit and PCB design and simulation tools such as Allegro, ADS, SiWave, HFSS, and CST.
- Hands-on experience with products that incorporate microcontrollers, digital signal processors, FPGAs, or ASICs.
- Knowledge of high-reliability system design, DC/DC power supply design, and Verilog/VHDL programming.
