About the Job

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced PCB Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality PCBs for space and satcom applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop multilayer PCBs for space and satcom applications
  • Experience in boards and design techniques for space and satellite PCB designs
  • In-depth knowledge of layout design and DFM/DFA procedures and various PCB qualification procedures for satcom applications
  • Experience on IPC standard package symbol creation in Allegro & Expedition
  • Advanced knowledge of constraints and use of the constraint manager. Net, Pin pair and combination-net (Xnets) length matching
  • Experience in power supply, analog, digital, and mixed signal circuit design. Expertise in satcom payload specific interface designs
  • Experience in CAM setup, Gerber generation, and Gerber checking
  • Ability to supply full set of deliverables for PCB fabrication and assembly
  • Expertise in HDI technologies (micro vias, stacked via, via-in-pad & back drill)
  • Memory technologies DDR, QDR SRAM, RDRAM, SDRAM. Bus/interface: CPRI, XAUI, PCI, PCI-X, SATA, CPRI, USB
  • Good academic credentials and solid base background in the field of PCB layout design, hands-on
  • Experience in PCB manufacturing, DFA, DFT requirements
  • Experience in customer interaction, project planning, and execution
  • Experience on one or many of PCB design tools specific details-Allegro, Orcad Capture CIS, Mentor Graphics Expedition, Dx-designer, PADS, Cad Star, Board Station RE, HyperLynx, Valor, and CAM 350
Security Clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.

Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility, such as country of residence and nationality.

Some posts are restricted to sole UK nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.
