Job Summary:

The Site Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of construction sites, overseeing the execution of projects, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage site activities, including setting out, checking plans, and ensuring quality control requirements are met.
  • Provide technical support to resolve any technical problems that may arise during the project.
  • Conduct pre-start site surveys and ensure timely handover of works without outstanding defects.
  • Operate and promote a high standard of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.
  • Assist in resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working on Civils Projects.
  • Proven track record of setting out on civil engineering projects.
  • Sound knowledge of construction methods, Health & Safety, and legal regulations.
  • Valid CSCS card.
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with site-based teams and clients.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills.
