Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Street Lighting division at FM Conway. As a Project Manager, you will play a vital role in planning, executing, and finalizing the delivery of high-profile street lighting schemes in Central London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the pre-contracts team in preparing tenders, advising on buildability, health and safety documentation, and preparing the tender programme.
  • Manage, coordinate, and review tender information and designs for the team.
  • Prepare the contract programme and manage project timelines and deliverables.
  • Proactively manage changes in the project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans accordingly.
  • Identify opportunities throughout the project life cycle with regards to construction methodology, site resources, and materials.
  • Ensure that works are set up and maintained in accordance with Lighting Safe Systems of work, as well as building and developing site-specific risk and method statements to ensure the highest levels of health and safety.
  • Assist the Commercial team with the production of the monthly valuation, cost value report, and cost plan, including compensations events.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in street lighting and highways infrastructure.
  • In-depth knowledge of street lighting project planning and programming.
  • Ability to effectively manage and lead a team.
  • Strong background in electrical installations, NEC contracts, and HERS/NERS compliance.
  • NRSWA for Supervisors certification, SMSTS, IOSH health and safety qualification, or equivalent.
  • Emergency first aid qualification.
  • Full UK driving license.
