Role Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Revenue Optimization Analyst to join our dynamic team of Protect People, who will take charge of all aspects related to data, including the analysis and interpretation of data to uncover opportunities and insights from our datasets, as well as pricing our offerings to the end consumer.

This is a remarkable opportunity for someone to truly own their role and make a significant impact within a data and AI-driven global technology brand.

Relevant experience may include industries such as: Events, Travel, Hospitality, Transportation, Fin-tech, Insur-tech, and Financial Services.

We expect you to be a natural innovator with an entrepreneurial mindset and a keen eye for detail, possessing a strong desire to deliver insightful analyses to various teams within the organization to achieve commercial goals.

You will be responsible for managing your role and will collaborate closely with our Lead Data Scientist, Chief Digital Officer, and Chief Technology Officers. As the Revenue Optimization Analyst, your insights and analyses will play a crucial role in shaping our pricing and content strategies, engagement tactics, and optimizing customer experiences. Your findings will empower our teams and guide our machine learning algorithms to make informed decisions that resonate with our online audience. Experience in the aforementioned industries or any disruptive technology brand would be beneficial but not essential, provided you have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify trends, patterns, and insights related to consumer behavior and pricing dynamics from our extensive online datasets.
  • Implement appropriate pricing adjustments to our products within our custom Protect Group Platform based on this analysis.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define product strategies that enhance competitiveness and profitability.
  • Develop models and algorithms to forecast demand and optimize pricing decisions.
  • Create visually engaging dashboards and reports that communicate statistical and empirical analytics on portfolio performance, customer behavior, and process effectiveness.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on data and promote a culture of data-driven excellence.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis within an e-commerce or online business context.
  • Commercially minded, with a focus on increasing revenue and profitability.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation tools (Python, Pandas, Spark, SQL) and data visualization tools, particularly Tableau and MS Excel.
  • Understanding of pricing strategies, market dynamics, and consumer behavior in the online space is advantageous.
  • Analytical mindset with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills to convey complex insights clearly.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, adapting to change with a positive attitude.
  • Creative thinker, capable of delivering innovative solutions to challenges.
  • Self-motivated, passionate, innovative, and well-organized.
  • Fluency in English is a requirement for this role.
