Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join Dovetail and Slate as an Assistant Manager for Education in our Prison Education department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that learners experience a high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with colleagues in the Education Department to develop and implement engaging and innovative curriculums.
  • Support tutors and colleagues to develop curriculums with a focus on Functional Skills, Personal & Social Development, and work-based learning programs.
  • Contribute to the development of education programs that meet the needs of learners in a prison setting.
  • Collaborate with the education team to ensure that learners receive a high-quality education that prepares them for future employment and reduces the likelihood of reoffending.

Requirements:

  • Teaching qualification (QTLS as appropriate) or Assessor/Verifier Award.
  • Ability to drive for potential traveling around regions for sharing best practice.
  • Relevant industry experience in Construction or Engineering.
  • Experience delivering qualifications relating to Construction or Engineering.
