About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist to lead our clinical service in Surgery and Critical Care at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing a safe and effective service to our patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient care.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to our pharmacy team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient safety, quality of care, and service delivery.
- Collaborate with our medical and nursing teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Lead and manage the pharmacy team, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to support their growth and success.
- Develop and maintain relationships with our stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines, policies, and procedures, ensuring our pharmacy services are aligned with best practice.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our pharmacy strategy, working closely with our leadership team to achieve our goals.
