Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT/OT System Administrator to join our team at Guardian Industries. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing local support for our process and operational technology infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company in the glass industry and contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage IT/technology related project deployments in the plant, providing local support where needed.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including engineering and global IT/OT teams, to ensure seamless integration and support.
  • Manage onsite IT service providers and vendors to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Implement, maintain, and support plant operational printers to ensure efficient and effective communication.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and solve OT network or OT systems issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Own and support anti-virus software on plant Process workstations, laptops, and servers to protect against cyber threats.
  • Administer and support software patching on plant Process workstations, laptops, and servers to ensure up-to-date security and functionality.
  • Cybersecurity: Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect our infrastructure and data.
  • Familiar with ITIL processes: Apply industry best practices to ensure efficient and effective service management.

    Requirements

    • Working knowledge of current network communications devices and protocols, as well as server and desktop technologies, especially Windows Server.
    • Working knowledge of Cisco and VMware is highly desirable.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
    • Previous work experience following change management procedures and maintaining a highly available infrastructure.
    • Fluent in English.
