Occupational Therapist for Children

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Children's Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children with complex health needs.
Main Responsibilities- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide occupational therapy services to children with complex health needs.
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy programs to promote children's occupational performance and participation.
- Collaborate with children, families, carers, and other healthcare professionals to identify and address individualized goals and needs.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on occupational therapy interventions and equipment to support children's occupational performance.
- Work closely with the Principal Occupational Therapist and the children's occupational therapy team to develop and implement a 'one team' approach across both localities.

Requirements- Registration with the Health Care Professional Council.
- Diploma/BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development in the area of specialism.
- UK driving license.
- Evidence of CPD portfolio.
- Paediatric occupational therapy practice experience.
- Practice placement education experience in a related OT clinical speciality.
- Experience of working within a community setting and/or a multi-disciplinary team.
