Position Details:
This is a permanent, full-time role, with a focus on a static location.

Compensation Package:
  • Attractive salary range of £36,000 - £38,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
  • Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week.
  • No on-call duties required outside of regular hours.
  • 25 days of annual leave in addition to public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical systems, such as HVAC, pumping systems, air compressors, water chillers, plumbing, and boilers.
  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical problems, implementing effective solutions to reduce downtime.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to enhance equipment reliability and lifespan.
  • Keep precise records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Assist in sourcing necessary parts and supplies for maintenance tasks.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to junior maintenance personnel as required.
  • Respond swiftly to urgent maintenance requests and deliver timely solutions.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Must hold at least a Level 3 City & Guilds qualification in Mechanical Maintenance Engineering or Plumbing & Heating, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in mechanical maintenance within the facilities management sector.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and boilers.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and proficiency in troubleshooting complex mechanical challenges.
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance practices and protocols.
  • Capability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
