Position Overview

Role: 1st Line IT Support Specialist

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Reporting To: IT Manager

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with potential for extended hours as required

Location: On-site

Connect Group is collaborating with a prominent organization in the food manufacturing sector, seeking a dedicated individual to serve as the initial point of contact for IT assistance. We are in search of a candidate who is innovative, capable of working autonomously, and possesses the resilience to handle tasks in a demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-response support to the production environment, addressing both hardware and software issues.
  • Engage in troubleshooting and resolution of technical problems, including but not limited to label printers and other essential equipment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with Windows Server operating systems
  • Experience with M365 administration
  • Basic skills in network troubleshooting
  • Setting up new computers and mobile devices
  • Ad-hoc cabling and hardware maintenance
  • Acting as the primary contact for IT-related inquiries
