Nursery Room Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Room Leader to join our dedicated team at Ellingham House Day Nursery.

About Us:

Ellingham House Day Nursery is a unique and welcoming environment, set in a Georgian country house surrounded by beautiful lawns and woodland. Our nursery provides a safe and stimulating space for children to explore, learn, and grow.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children, ensuring their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Develop and implement engaging and purposeful experiences for children, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate records and accounts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, parents, and visitors at all times.

Requirements:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification.
  • Over 1 year's experience working in Early Years.
  • Over 6 months' experience working in a senior position.
  • Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations and the EYFS framework.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
