About the Opportunity

Ramboll is a leading global provider of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) due diligence services, supporting clients in hundreds of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions annually. Our team acts for numerous global private equity houses, multinational corporations, property and asset investment institutions, and law firms.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior EHS Due Diligence Consultant to join our Compliance, Strategy, and Transactions (CST) Department. As a key member of our global team, you will play a critical role in the continued success of our transaction advisory practice, working on challenging projects for high-caliber clients.

We offer flexible and hybrid working arrangements, welcoming candidates located within the UK, with reasonable proximity to one of our office locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of environmental due diligence projects across various sectors, including data room document reviews, confirmatory site visits, and reporting.
  • Identify, assess, and communicate environmental risks and opportunities to clients and stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of key UK and European environmental regulations, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in environmental policy and regulation.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with our international environmental due diligence team, enhancing opportunities for project work and professional growth.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in environmental due diligence consulting, with a strong understanding of industrial sectors and client types.
  • Ability to quickly interpret and critically analyze environmental information, assessing potential risks and opportunities, and proposing pragmatic solutions.
  • Professional understanding of UK and European environmental liabilities and compliance requirements, with the ability to advise clients on liability management options.
  • Experience in project management or providing project management support in environmental due diligence.
