About the Role

TPF Recruitment is proud to partner with a reputable firm of chartered accountants in their search for a Senior Auditor in Accounts Management. This firm is known for its supportive and engaging workplace culture, with a commendable track record of employee retention and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, primarily focusing on owner-managed businesses.
  • Oversee the review of year-end accounts prepared by junior staff members.
  • Prepare complex year-end financial statements.
  • Lead audit assignments from initial planning through to final completion, coordinating with both the team and clients as needed.
  • Provide comprehensive accountancy and tax advisory services to clients.
  • Facilitate pre-audit and post-audit discussions with clients.
  • Assist in the leadership and development of a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants.
  • Mentor team members, ensuring high-quality work and timely delivery of services.
  • Enhance the team's capabilities through tailored development plans and training initiatives.
  • Contribute to the firm's growth by maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and fostering connections with potential clients.
Candidate Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a practice environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing year-end accounts within a chartered accountancy firm.
  • Prior auditing experience, ideally with a focus on leading audits in a similar setting.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong communication abilities.
