Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Garden Close in Hertfordshire. As a Support Worker, you will provide support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet their assessed needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver all aspects of support to enable customers to develop independent living skills
  • Support customers to undertake domestic tasks and provide practical assistance where needed
  • Participate in support planning and risk management
  • Carry out security duties to ensure the safety of customers and premises
  • Enable customers to make full use of community facilities
  • Report any observations relating to customer welfare

About You:

We are looking for someone who is fundamentally calm and resilient, with a practical and logical mind. You should be able to cope positively with challenging and diverse behaviour and have a can-do attitude. You will be flexible and open to feedback and self-development.

What You'll Bring:

  • NVQ Level or equivalent or experience within the charity/social care sector
  • Manual car driving license (desirable)
