We are seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant who will contribute to creating a nurturing and supportive learning atmosphere. This role can be full-time or part of our flexible supply bank, based at various locations within our council.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers and fellow teaching assistants in delivering tailored educational programs.
  • Foster a stable and encouraging environment for students, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Engage with students in small groups, providing personalized support to enhance their learning experience.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team to develop effective strategies for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

We are looking for candidates who possess strong communication skills, a flexible approach, and the ability to meet the unique challenges faced by our students. Experience in supporting young individuals with SEND, particularly those on the autistic spectrum, is highly valued.
