Business Analyst Role at Marlowe Fire & Security

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Service Administration department at Marlowe Fire & Security. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing qualitative data and insightful commentary on the operational performance of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review daily/weekly/monthly reports with commentary for the leadership team.
  • Reconcile engineer revenue to revenue declared in monthly accounts produced within Sage 200.
  • Produce weekly timesheet audits, including review of high overtime.
  • Link service management and payroll to accurately sign off commissions/overtime/expenses.
  • Verify incentive scheme details monthly.
  • Produce anomaly reports identifying wastage and sub-optimised business outcomes.
  • Analyse profitability of sub-con labour usage, linking cost to revenue.
  • Ensure best use of KPI data and company delivery performance against customer SLAs.
Requirements:
  • A proactive approach, excellent inter-personal skills, and first-class presentational skills.
  • Discreet and respect confidentialities.
  • Highly numerate/analytical.
  • Flexible approach, able to pick up new work and one-off projects as they arise.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team and on own initiative.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Detailed understanding of operational and financial databases.
  • Advanced Office 365 skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to deal with high volumes of complex data.
  • ODBC/SQL skills desired but not a prerequisite.
  • Knowledge of management accounts desirable but not essential.
  • SAGE 200/CASH for Windows knowledge would be of advantage.
