Procurement Manager for Facilities and Construction

Expedia, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager for Facilities and Construction to join our global corporate services procurement team in London.

This role will be responsible for procurement of facilities management, construction, Real Estate IT, and manned security services for Expedia in EMEA. The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders to develop and implement procurement strategies, improve supplier performance, and drive commercial aspects.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional knowledge of core procurement fundamentals, strong problem-solving skills, and experience working in a global business with multiple brands. They will be responsible for leading and owning a full range of projects, from transactional to complex, and will work closely with stakeholders to build moderate to complex service requirements and scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to improve supplier performance and drive commercial aspects.
  • Lead and own a full range of projects, from transactional to complex, within the categories of facilities management, construction, Real Estate IT, and manned security services.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to build moderate to complex service requirements and scope.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify vendors, manage the entire RFx process, and provide vendor evaluation framework and recommendations on vendor selection.
  • Deliver sustainable value by leading negotiations with vendors on the scope of work, commercial aspects, and contracting.
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships to maximize value and deliver a best-in-class supply chain solution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in strategic sourcing and procurement of Real Estate and Facilities services or similar background.
  • Exceptional knowledge of core procurement fundamentals.
  • Strong problem-solving, lateral thinking, project management, planning organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Driven by financial targets and value creation.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau, and Smartsheet.
