Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning of students in our school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the teacher in planning, preparing and delivering lessons to students.
  • Assist with the management of student behavior and maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
  • Provide individualized support to students who require additional help.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Have a strong understanding of child development and learning principles.
  • Be able to work effectively with students, teachers and other support staff.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
