Lead Cybersecurity Systems Analyst - Hybrid Role - Competitive Salary - *SC CLEARED*
An exceptional opportunity for an SC CLEARED Lead Cybersecurity Analyst. This role involves providing specialized oversight, counsel, and direction on all facets of information security to various projects and operational functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough risk assessments of information systems to inform stakeholders and project leaders.
Offer expert guidance to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and the information security management team.
Design and implement the overarching security framework of the organization, ensuring the integration of essential security measures.
Uphold and advocate for high standards in safety, health, security, and quality within the work environment.
Primary Duties:
- Collaborate with various functions, projects, and supply chains to evaluate sources of Information Risk and provide actionable recommendations.
Lead initiatives to maintain awareness of government, military, and industry best practices in Assurance and Risk Management.
Assess how the comprehensive security framework applies to projects and provide advice on security necessities.
Examine designs for adherence to the overall security framework, ensuring the fulfillment of security requirements and the effectiveness of security features and tools.
Facilitate formal accreditation processes for corporate systems and other designated systems.
- Supervise IT Health Checks and Vulnerability Assessments, including the approval of test scopes and the overall testing strategy.
Job Overview:
Advise management on suitable levels of risk tolerance.
Document and monitor evaluations of information capabilities and projects, supporting reviews and audits as required.
Enhance the professionalism of Information Risk Management practices.
Participate in and manage project Security Working Groups.
Qualifications and Skills:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification.
CESG Certified (CCP) SIRA, Accreditor, or IA Architect or equivalent.
Proven experience in utilizing methodologies to identify, assess, and manage information risk.
ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer or similar qualifications.
Membership in the Institute of Information Security Professionals (MInstISP) or equivalent.
