At Grant Thornton (UK), we're seeking an exceptional Audit Senior Manager to join our Commercial Audit service line. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to develop your career, work with a diverse range of clients, and contribute to the success of our business.
About the RoleAs an Audit Senior Manager, you'll be responsible for managing a large portfolio of audit clients, solving complex technical matters, and overseeing the development of your team. You'll work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice to ensure their financial statements are accurate and compliant.
Our Commercial Audit team in the Birmingham region is a hub for mid-market and listed entity audits, offering a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of clients and projects. You'll have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in areas such as UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS, and audit software.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you'll need a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA, or CIPFA) and post-qualification experience. You'll also need excellent knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS102, and IFRS, as well as experience of managing audits of large companies and dealing with complex technical matters.
We're looking for someone who is confident, proactive, and able to work independently. You'll need to be able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues, and be able to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
