Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring professional to join our Early Help Team as an Early Intervention Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing early, targeted support and challenge to families in need, working in partnership with other agencies to achieve sustainable behavioural change and improve outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver targeted Early Help services to achieve positive outcomes for families across the North Hull area.
  • Work predominantly with children and young people aged 0 – 11 years and their families as part of an integrated, multi-agency Family Hub.
  • Act as a Lead Practitioner for families with a range of needs, undertaking assessments and coordinating a planned response to family needs in partnership with other agencies.
  • Experience of working with children and families, completing assessments to identify needs and knowledge of multi-agency working is required.
  • Hold a relevant Level 3 or equivalent qualification in an appropriate field related to Social Care, Education, Health, Early Years, Youth or Community work.
