About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Caretaker to join our Estate Team in Ely. As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our properties, ensuring a high level of customer service and working collaboratively with our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain communal areas of flats, hostels, and housing for older people schemes
  • Remove bulky waste from sites following works orders
  • Ensure Health and Safety protocols are followed
  • Work with customers to resolve issues and improve services
  • Complete all documents and paperwork concerning tasks completed
  • Maintain tools and equipment in a suitable condition
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar cleaning role or completing similar tasks
  • British Institute Certificate in Cleaning Services (BICS) would be advantageous
  • Practical experience in operating hand tools and light machinery
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
  • Good communication and customer care skills
  • Full manual valid UK driving licence
