Electrical Maintenance Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at MDE Group UK. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance, autonomous maintenance, and breakdown work as required.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance planning team and production engineering team to prioritize projects and initiatives that enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
  • Support and coach operators to maximize productivity and improve line performance.
  • Participate in the site responsible persons team and contribute to the fire response team.
  • Work closely with the project team to implement new equipment and processes.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards and adhere to industry standards for mechanical and electrical engineering.

Requirements:

  • Time-served apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical discipline or be multiskilled.
  • Expectation to become fully multi-skilled.
  • Knowledge and experience of relevant technologies and equipment.
  • Minimum of Higher National Certificate (HNC) or equivalent qualification in engineering.
  • Experience with SAP maintenance program.
  • Demonstrate good understanding of relevant industry standards for Mechanical & Electrical engineering.
