Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble mechanical components in accordance with engineering specifications.
  • Utilize mechanical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve production challenges.
  • Perform welding and other fabrication tasks as required.
  • Develop and implement tooling and fixtures aimed at boosting production efficiency.
  • Interpret and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to spearhead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and rectify production issues.
  • Utilize AutoCAD or similar CAD software to create or modify engineering drawings.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, along with demonstrable experience in fabrication, assembly, and mechanical engineering principles.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in welding techniques and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of tooling design and implementation.
  • Familiarity with GD&T principles and their application in manufacturing.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective measures.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD software for engineering drawings.
