Job Title: Clinical Assessor

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Assessor to join our team at Reactive Recruitment. As a Clinical Assessor, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the permanent disablement caused by Troubles-Related Incidents and producing structured assessment reports to support the Victims Payments Board's decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet face-to-face with applicants to review medical evidence and determine the permanence of their condition and percentage disablement
  • Seek additional medical evidence from GPs, healthcare professionals, or services as required
  • Gather relevant information from applicants and analyze clinical information to compile comprehensive reports
Requirements:
  • Fully registered medical practitioner or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years post-registration experience
  • Valid full driving license and access to a car
  • Demonstrable background in mental health or psychiatric specialty
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work at pace

  • Competitive basic salary of £38,500
