Job Title: Clinical Disability Assessor

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Disability Assessor to join our team at Reactive Recruitment. As a Clinical Disability Assessor, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the permanent disablement caused by a Troubles-Related Incident and producing a structured assessment report to the Victims Payments Board (VPB) decision makers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake clinical functional assessments for applicants to the Troubles Permanent Disablement Payment Scheme
  • Relate to people from a range of socio-economic backgrounds, races, religions, and cultures
  • Produce a structured assessment report to the Victims Payments Board (VPB) decision makers
  • Manage conversations and keep to timescales
  • Deal with a high percentage of work using a laptop and IT systems
Requirements:
  • Fully registered medical practitioner, psychologist, registered nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or social worker
  • Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience (4 years for social workers)
  • Fully registered without sanction or conditions of practice with the GMC/NMC/HCPC/NISCC with a valid PIN
  • A valid full driving licence and access to a car
  • Demonstrable background in a Mental Health/Psychiatric speciality
