Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team in a Bank Shifts role. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medicines in a legal, efficient, and accurate way, ensuring that the Outpatient Pharmacy service is patient-focused, responsive, and appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Abide by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) standards of conduct, ethics, and performance, as well as standards for registered pharmacies.
  • Ensure that medicines are dispensed in a legal, efficient, and accurate way and that appropriate clinical and other checks have been carried out.
  • Provide professional leadership in the pharmacy, ensuring all pharmacy practices are within the boundaries described within the latest version of the Medicines, Ethics, and Practice issued by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Master's Degree in Pharmacy and Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council are required.
  • Experience of managing a pharmacy and team is essential.
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts between 08:00 and 20:00 is required.
  • Ability to cover on-call, evening, and weekend services is necessary.
  • Desirable to have hospital and clinical experience with knowledge of Ascribe.
