About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team on a bank shift basis. As a Pharmacist at Bupa, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medicines to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Abide by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) standards of conduct, ethics, and performance, as well as standards for registered pharmacies.
  • Ensure that the Outpatient Pharmacy service is patient-focused, responsive, and appropriate.
  • Dispense medicines in a legal, efficient, and accurate way, and ensure appropriate clinical and other checks have been carried out.
  • Provide professional leadership in the pharmacy, ensuring all pharmacy practices are within the boundaries described in the latest version of the Medicines, Ethics, and Practice issued by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and General Pharmaceutical Council.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Pharmacy
  • Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Experience of managing a pharmacy and team
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts, including on-call, evening, and weekend services
  • Ability to cover on-call, evening, and weekend services
  • Desirable to have hospital and clinical experience with knowledge of Ascribe
