We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Supervisor in Social Care. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to a team of Support Practitioners, ensuring that individuals with complex needs receive the highest quality of support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support a team of Support Practitioners to deliver person-centered care and support to individuals with complex needs.
- Develop and implement effective support plans to meet the needs of individuals, ensuring that their outcomes are achieved.
- Conduct regular practice observations, provide guidance and support to staff, and ensure that quality checks are completed.
- Participate in service audits, assist with day-to-day management tasks, and contribute to the development of the service.
- Provide regular supervision and support to staff, including appraisals and development opportunities.
Requirements:
- SVQ3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Good time management skills and a flexible approach to the working week.
- Manual driving license and ability to drive a vehicle.
- Ability to work in a person-centered way, respecting the needs and preferences of individuals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, individuals, and families.
