About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Healthcare Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering our earwax removal service to the local community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers and verify their details
  • Manage appointment bookings for the earwax removal service
  • Explain the earwax removal procedure to customers
  • Remove earwax in line with current guidelines
  • Record clear and accurate medical notes
  • Maintain quality of service delivery by following Standard Operating Procedures and adhering to health and safety standards
  • Order and maintain adequate stock of requisite materials needed to deliver service
  • Work with wider healthcare professionals to escalate queries and signpost into other healthcare services
Requirements
  • Five GCSEs or equivalent
  • Previous healthcare experience is not mandatory, but a passion for customer care and working in healthcare is essential
  • Motivated to complete theoretical training
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to communicate with customers and other healthcare professionals
  • Confident, empathetic, and approachable with the ability to interact sensitively
  • Digitally savvy and comfortable using a smartphone
  • Able to learn and be comfortable in completing a healthcare training programme at NVQ2 or equivalent
