Job Title: Senior Specialist of Benefits Operations

Planet Pharma is seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist of Benefits Operations to join our team. As a key member of our HR Shared Services delivery model, you will be responsible for the execution and administration of benefits and retirement programs, including health & welfare, savings plans, and wellness.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end operation of benefits programs for assigned markets, ensuring seamless execution and administration.
  • Interpret and communicate benefit plan details and processes to stakeholders, providing clear guidance and support.
  • Document all processes, draft/update Local Work Instructions (LWIs) and Knowledge Articles, and streamline workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead the implementation of new benefits, process changes, and related improvements, collaborating with benefits providers and management teams.
  • Manage day-to-day benefit plan administration, including eligibility, enrolments, status changes, terminations, and claims, while handling provider portals, invoicing, and payments.
  • Collaborate with benefits providers and management teams on renewals and enrolment windows, maintaining annual activity calendars.
  • Review and update benefit system communications to support employee self-service, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Main Requirements:

  • Benefits and compensation operations experience, with a strong understanding of HR Shared Services delivery models.
  • Operational experience of other HR processes, e.g., talent acquisition, payroll, performance, and a proven track record of success.
  • Experience working within an HR Shared Services delivery model, with a focus on benefits administration and operations.
  • Experience working with HR and Benefits enabling systems: Workday, ServiceNow, Darwin, Morneau Shepell's Ariel.
