About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our Clinical Sciences team in Liverpool. As a leading institution in tropical diseases, we are excited to offer this opportunity to contribute to our research efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design and implementation of integrated strategies for TB case detection, care, and treatment
  • Collaborate with researchers to support ongoing social determinant health systems research
  • Prepare and facilitate workshops to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration
  • Develop a shared bibliography resource on social determinants and TB diagnostics
  • Conduct key informant interviews, focus group discussions, and participatory workshops to gather insights from stakeholders
  • Support the delivery of capacity strengthening and safeguarding strategies for the LIGHT and Start4All consortia
Requirements
  • PhD in a health or health-related science discipline
  • Experience in working in health, development, or implementation in low-income countries
  • Experience in conducting implementation research, research in social sciences, health economics, and international health
  • Experience in working on research into social determinants and consequences of health
  • Experience in academic paper writing and international presentations
  • Understanding of quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods study design, data collection, and data analysis
