Job Title: Public Protection Lead Officer About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Protection Lead Officer to join our team at Dundee City Council. Key Responsibilities: * Maintain a strong social work knowledge base and ensure staff within Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership are enabled to provide effective and safe practice in relation to Public Protection work. * Develop and implement operational protection processes to prevent and respond to people at risk of harm. * Lead change management and deliver operational protection processes to ensure effective and safe practice. * Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure effective and safe practice. * Analyze and present complex information to inform decision-making. * Develop and implement quality assurance activities to ensure effective and safe practice. Requirements: * Social Work degree or equivalent. * Significant experience in a related field, including leading change management and delivering operational protection processes. * Excellent working knowledge of protection legislation, core operational processes, and practice. * Experience of multi-agency working and quality assurance activities. * Ability to analyze and present complex information, and develop and implement quality assurance activities. * Excellent oral and written skills, including presentation skills.
