Sandmere Care Home is a purpose-built care home located in the heart of Margate community in Kent. Our 68-bedded luxury service provides exceptional levels of Residential, Nursing, Dementia & Respite care.

Job Title: Care Assistant (Dayshift)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Sandmere Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with meal times and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Participate in care planning and contribute to the development of individual care plans
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience working in an elderly care home in the UK
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
What We Offer:
  • A competitive hourly rate of £12
  • Contracted hours: 22 / 33 / 38.5 / 44 hours per week (Dayshift)
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (Based on a full-time contract)
