About Sandmere Care Home

We are a purpose-built care home located in the heart of Margate community in Kent, providing exceptional levels of Residential, Nursing, Dementia & Respite care.

Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our Dayshift team, working in a supportive and fun environment. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Participate in care planning and implementation
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure excellent care standards
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience working in an elderly care home in the UK
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate of £12
  • Contracted hours of 22/33/38.5/44 hours per week (Dayshift)
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (Based on a full-time contract)
