About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Sandmere Care Home, a luxury care home providing exceptional levels of Residential, Nursing, Dementia & Respite care in the heart of Margate community in Kent.

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with meal times and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Participate in care planning and contribute to the development of individual care plans
Requirements

We are looking for a Care Assistant with an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care and at least one year of experience working within an elderly care home in the UK.

You will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality care.

  • Contracted hours of 22 / 33 / 38.5 / 44 hours per week (Dayshift)
