Job Overview

As an MET (Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim) Technician, you will be integral to our operations, ensuring that our clients' vehicles are restored to the highest standards. Your skills in diagnosing, repairing, and replacing mechanical, electrical, and trim components across various vehicle makes and models will be vital in upholding our reputation for quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all necessary mechanical and bodywork on assigned vehicles.
  • Disassemble vehicles in preparation for panel repair work.
  • Conduct comprehensive inspections, troubleshooting, and diagnostic assessments.
  • Order and replace parts as needed, ensuring vehicles are reassembled to pre-accident condition.
  • Ensure all work adheres to company and industry quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with the broader team regarding repair statuses.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and procedures consistently.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience as an MET Technician, with a background in accident repair. Your attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure will be essential in delivering high-quality outcomes.

You will:

  • Organize your workload efficiently to meet set timelines.
  • Complete tasks in accordance with manufacturers' specifications and industry standards.
  • Work effectively both as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Approach your responsibilities with flexibility, consistently striving for excellence with customer satisfaction as a priority.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines at all times, maintaining a clean work environment and utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Have knowledge and experience in accident repair for a diverse range of vehicles, including electric and hybrid models.
  • Ideally hold an ATA / NVQ qualification, with support available for renewal.
