They are currently seeking an MET Stripper Fitter for their bodyshop in Leicester.

About You

Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently plan your workload to ensure timely vehicle readiness
- Work skillfully and safely under pressure
- Execute tasks in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Collaborate effectively within a team and independently with minimal supervision
- Maintain flexibility in your approach
- Consistently uphold high standards with a focus on customer satisfaction


It is essential to adhere to Health and Safety guidelines, including the use of provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintaining cleanliness in work areas.


While the ideal candidate will possess MET experience in a bodyshop, consideration will also be given to Level 3 qualified vehicle technicians seeking a career transition.


Requirements

As an experienced ATA MET, your responsibilities will include:

- Performing all necessary mechanical and bodywork on assigned vehicles
- Dismantling vehicles in preparation for the panel shop
- Conducting inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic assessments
- Ordering replacement parts as needed
- Reassembling vehicles with new components to restore them to pre-accident condition
