Reed Exhibitions Limited Company is seeking an experienced Application Security Leader to oversee the Application Security discipline. This role involves ensuring that all applications are developed with security as a top priority to protect sensitive data and maintain customer trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of applications using manual and automated techniques to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to enhance application security posture, including implementing secure coding practices and integrating security tooling into the development lifecycle.
  • Administer and manage security tooling such as Sonarcube and Acunetix to ensure effective vulnerability detection and remediation.
  • Work closely with peer groups to safeguard company information assets, including identifying and mitigating potential security risks and threats.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security programs and manage project deliverables to ensure timely and effective security solutions.
  • Embed security tooling into CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless integration and automation of security testing.

Requirements

  • Proven understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and ability to apply security principles throughout the development process.
  • Experience in conducting security architecture reviews and risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Ability to oversee application security testing and increase automation to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify potential threats and attacks to applications and systems.
  • Ability to monitor security systems for threats and take proactive measures to prevent security breaches.
