About the Role

Ferrero International S.A. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at the Eat Natural plant. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform planned and unplanned maintenance tasks to optimize plant performance
  • Respect and work to standards in key areas such as health and safety, food safety, environment, hygiene, and product quality assurance
  • Deliver line performance through proactive engineering support
  • Provide knowledge and support in the event of plant failure
  • Undertake routine maintenance on equipment to ensure it performs to the expected standard
  • Diagnose and repair plant, equipment breakdowns or defects, working closely with production team colleagues to advise on resolution actions and timeframes
  • Carry out scheduled PPM tasks, fault reporting, and root cause analysis
  • Ensure daily maintenance activity is recorded accurately and in a timely manner on the computerized maintenance management system
  • Provide maintenance insight and input to problem-solving and continuous improvement activities
  • Advise of repairs or diagnostic issues to the Maintenance Manager
Requirements
  • Experience as an engineer qualified to level 3 or equivalent with an electrical and mechanical background
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Experience using computerized maintenance systems
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build great working relationships across teams and departments
  • Ability to lead by example, following procedures and processes to keep people and products safe
  • Ability to work to clear priorities and within defined processes
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work accordingly
