About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Kitchen Assistant to join our Catering team at Cinnamon Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the Head Chef and other catering team members in delivering high-quality catering services to our residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met at all times.
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals and beverages to a high standard, as directed by the Head Chef, in accordance with agreed mealtimes.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and food storage areas, adhering to relevant food hygiene regulations.
- Prepare special diet meals as required and directed by the Head Chef.
- Provide feedback to the Head Chef on resident complaints regarding the catering department, addressing issues promptly where possible.
- Contribute to cost-effective stock control systems to minimize waste and ensure efficient inventory management.
Person Specification:
- Ability to carry out duties and responsibilities with or without assistive aids.
- Organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Energetic, passionate, and proactive attitude.
- Awareness of COSHH and CQC regulations.
