Job Title: Head Housekeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Housekeeper to join our team at Meallmore's Airthrey Care Home. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and infection prevention control within the care home.

About the Role:
  • Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure a warm and homely environment for our residents.
  • Liaise with the Home Manager to manage the cleaning rota and adhere to company policies, Health & Safety, and COSHH guidelines.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules to ensure a high level of cleanliness throughout the care home.
  • Collaborate with the housekeeping team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
Requirements:
  • Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a care home setting.
  • Good understanding of COSHH and infection control guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Good organisation skills and ability to prioritise daily duties.
