Project Manager - Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at New Appointments Group. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading engineering projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project plans, including cost and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project scope, schedule, and budget are aligned.
  • Manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead and direct project teams, including engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
  • Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders, including project sponsors and senior management.
  • Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
  • Perform project close-out activities, including lessons learned and project evaluation.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in engineering project management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct project teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Strong financial management skills, with the ability to manage project finances and budgets.
  • Experience with project management software tools, including MS Project, Asana, or similar.
