**About the Role**

Unity Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Technical Art Director to play a vital role in shaping the future of content creation tools in games, XR, and interactive media. As a Technical Art Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of technical artists and collaborating closely with engineers and product designers to improve the content creation experience in Unity.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Build a healthy, empowering team culture that fosters collaboration and innovation.
  • Coordinate with other Unity teams to contribute to documentation, training material, presentations, and demos.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in 3D graphics and modern 3D asset creation pipelines.
  • Work closely with engineers and product designers to identify and address technical challenges in content creation.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Unity's content creation tools and features.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and prioritize feature requests and technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials for technical artists.
  • Contribute to the development of new features and tools that improve the content creation experience in Unity.

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience as a technical artist or art director in the game development industry.
  • Strong understanding of 3D graphics and modern 3D asset creation pipelines.
  • Experience with Unity's content creation tools and features.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • French or Danish language skills.
