As a key member of our team, you will contribute to Unity's graphic strategy, collaborate with engineers and product designers to improve the content creation experience, and advocate for more elegant and efficient workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Unity's graphic strategy to drive innovation and growth
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve the content creation experience in Unity
  • Advocate for more efficient and effective workflows to enhance productivity and quality
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of technical artists to drive graphics innovation
  • Coordinate with other Unity teams to contribute to documentation, training material, presentations, and demos

Requirements

  • Conversant with the state of the art in 3D graphics and broad familiarity with modern 3D asset creation pipelines
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment
  • Proven track record of shipping two or more games as an artist or technical artist and leading a team of at least six people
  • Unity engine knowledge and/or prior experience as a technical art director
  • Shipped on mobile or XR platforms and/or production experience with VFX or lighting
