About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2/Category C driver to join our team at Backline Plymouth. As a cage delivery driver, you will be responsible for delivering roll cages, crates, and pallets to retail stores in the Plymouth, Devon, and Cornwall areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver caged goods to retail sites in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate a HGV Class 2/Category C vehicle and trailer
  • Handball and unload goods at retail sites
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet delivery deadlines
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times

Requirements

  • Full UK HGV Class 2/Category C Licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points
  • Current and valid CPC and digital tachograph card
  • Broad knowledge of driving rules and regulations
  • Good written and spoken communication skills
