Job Summary

The Cloud Solution Architect will enable customers to achieve their outcomes based on their investments in Microsoft technology. Leveraging expertise in Microsoft Azure, this role will lead technical conversations with customers and Microsoft colleagues to drive value from their MS investments. Key responsibilities include accelerating customer adoption, building solutions, and identifying resolutions to issues impeding customer success projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand customers' overall data estate, business priorities, and IT success measures.
  • Prioritize Customer Satisfaction: Foster positive relationships and become a trusted advisor.
  • Ensure Solution Excellence: Deliver solutions with high performance, security, scalability, maintainability, repeatability, reusability, and reliability upon deployment.
  • Drive Consumption Growth: Develop opportunities to enhance Customer Success and help customers extract value from their Microsoft investments.
  • Unblock Customer Challenges: Leverage subject matter expertise to identify resolutions for customer blockers.
  • Architect modern Data & Analytics Solutions: Apply technical knowledge to design solutions aligned with business and IT needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Experience working with large Enterprise customers and field communities in consulting or similar roles, leading deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation of Data or Analytics based solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Azure or equivalent), and experience creating Data & Analytics Proof of Concepts (PoC), Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for customers that lead to production deployments and optimization of those deployments.
  • Database architecture, application development skills, scripting, deployment automation, performance tuning and optimization, high availability / disaster recovery and debugging database related issues.
