Job Title: Year 4 SEMH Support Specialist

Location: Remote (with occasional on-site visits)

Salary: £83 - £93 per day (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

Role Overview:

Protocol Education is seeking an experienced SEND Learning Support staff to work within a school setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with students who require social, emotional, and mental health support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEND needs.
  • Assist students with academic tasks and promote their learning and development.
  • Develop and implement behavioral management strategies to support students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive support plan.
  • Use resources and materials to engage students and promote their understanding of lessons.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications or experience in SEND support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid DBS check and subscription to the DBS Update Service.
